After almost three decades of existence, Cafe by the Ruins has grown into one of Baguio’s most iconic restaurants, and on March, they celebrated their 29th Anniversary with a month-full of activities. The original site of Cafe by the Ruins, just across City Hall, most known for its rustic and artistic architecture, made space on its walls for art pieces by different Baguio artists. Cafe by the Ruins Dua also opened an exhibit for art pieces coming from its personal collection. Finally, they celebrated their Anniversary Thanksgiving and memorial for Dave Baradas on March 27, where the pioneers of restaurant and Baguio artists came together for a kanyaw. Next year, the 30th celebration will be bigger and more exciting as they are planning a full-blown art festival for more artists to participate. Happy Anniversary, Cafe by the Ruins!
