In conjunction with the quest of making Baguio the Art Capital of the Philippines, more and more artist groups continue to flock to Albergo Hotel for their art exhibits. For the months of July and August, two group shows were held – one by the Baguio Arts Guild and another entitled “Art in Convergence”.
Participating artists for the Baguio Arts Guild group show were Marlou Na-oy, Ravi Mondok, Dianne Mondok, Jenny Marsha Agtani, Gilbert Rafer, and Clemente Delim.
In “Arts in Convergence”, occupying the Albergo Hotel Lobby, there were 13 total joining artists, namely Francis Alabag, Fei Alangui, Ged Alangui, Sakura Alangui, Fred Agunoy, Ramil Bahala, Ryan Ballente, Ira Cabloy, Beth Calalo, Clemente Delim, Patric Palasi, Ella Picazo Pinder, and Jireh Rodriguez.
Albergo’s art hub takes pride in being an inclusive venue for all kinds of artists, whether new or veteran. Blind to prior achievements and qualifications, the art hub’s goal is simple: to showcase the artistic talents of Baguio individuals and give a platform to those seeking exposure for their work.
“Convergence” is the key word – various artists coming together to simply make a difference through their love for art through the mediums they know best, be it painting, photography, poetry, illustration, or mixed media.

If you are a budding artist or know someone who is, showcase your talent! You might be interested in having your own exhibit at Albergo Hotel. And if you are, feel free to message us and we can connect you to the people in charge.
Art in Convergence will still be on display at the Hotel Lobby until September 13. Meanwhile, a new exhibit entitled “Sino” is ongoing at the Atrium. Article coming soon!
