Written by Vanessa Venugopal
Grief is a process.
It is not a race.
It is not about just being sad all the time.
Sometimes you sit there in complete silence
And remember everything.
Sometimes you share stories.
Sometimes you regret the things you do and words you didn’t say.
Sometimes you remember their last days with you.
Sometimes you are mad.
And sometimes you miss their touch,
And their voice,
And their face.
Grief is not a one time thing.
Sometimes it takes months or years,
But most certainly it will take a life time.
