We may not have a Comicon in the city, but we do have Pop Art, an art showcase of everything comic book-related by the Comic Book Club of Baguio City. And with great artwork, comes our great responsibility to check it out and tell you about it.
The art works are either painted, inked, or digitally drawn, which is only fitting for a comic-themed gallery.
Spiderman, making sabit sa likod ng jeep, which unfortunately didn’t have a title tag so we couldn’t properly credit the artist for this witty piece.
We are very fond of this triad of comic-page acrylic paintings by Ged Alangui, especially with Deadpool being classic Deadpool. PINIKPIKAN!
The comic book club is a group of comic book collectors and enthusiasts from Baguio. We wish they had left some contact details because we surely want to join!
Pop Art is being held at Old Boys, Nevada Square and will run until April 17, 2016. Go and see if you can find your favorite hero and/or villain from Marvel or DC.
Old Boys opens at 5 PM, perfect if you plan on visiting after school or work hours.
